We have decided not to go forward with the CMF Annual Golf Tournament.  It was a wonderful event for 3 years and we appreciate all the help and support we received from the Moehlman family and other members that participated.  If you are interested in attending a fundraising event, please check out our Butterfly Flutter By, a LIVE release of 1000 Painted Lady butterflies.  This event is usually in mid April.

So, you don't play golf but you want to get involved?


Enter our Ball Drop Contest and purchase as many golf balls as you want for $25 each.  Every ball will give you a chance at a trip to The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, California.  On Friday, October 5th, at Wildcat Golf Club, all balls will be dropped from a helicopter hovering over the driving range.  The first ball to land in the hole (or closest to the pin) wins the trip. The ball drop is limited to 2000 balls.  Deadline to enter is October 4, 2012.  Click on the button below to buy as many golf balls as you want.

Our 3rd Annual CMF Golf Classic in 2012 was successful and lots of fun!!

Thanks to everyone who supported us with their money and their time... and especially to David and Millicent Moehlman for organizing the event and all the wonderful volunteers!  We had a great day, with absolutely beautiful weather.   Unfortunately, we raised less money this year with fewer sponsors, but we still made about $21,000, and we hope to improve our numbers a bit next year.  We sold 688 of the 2000 available golf balls this year.   The winner of the golf ball drop event was Sheila Smith and she and a guest get the BIG PRIZE of a trip to the Ritz Carlton at Laguna Niguel, in Dana Point, California!!

Thanks to all who supported us, and especially to David Moehlman for organizing the event.  We also want to thank Millicent Moehlman, who organized all the wonderful volunteers.  We had a great day, despite the terrible weather. It was cold and very windy, but we were able to get the helicopter up and drop the golf balls for our BIG PRIZE of a trip to Costa Rica.  The winner was Jefferey Strobel, ball # 587.  He and his wife decided to donate the trip back to CMF!! So....we basically made an additional $4000 since we saved by not having to pay for a trip to Costa Rica.  Thank you Strobels for your generous sacrifice!!  We raised just under $30,000 again this year.....and we hope to improve our numbers a bit next year.

CMF Golf Classic in 2010

Was A Big Success!


A Big Big thank you goes to David Moehlman for planning and organizing our 2010 fundraising golf tournament, and also to his wife Millicent for handling all our wonderful volunteers!!  It was a huge success...and we plan to do it again next year.  We raised just under $30,000 for Changing Minds Foundation and expanding awareness of the need for continued research into treatments for Down syndrome.  Thank you to all those who supported us and contributed in any way to the success of this event.
